Last week, Thomas Brunschede and Jan Erik Brunschede participated in the TOP 100-Denkerrunde®, a format featuring former Federal President Christian Wulff, in which entrepreneurial and socio-political topics are collectively envisioned and reflectively discussed by innovative medium-sized companies.

The focus was on intensive discussions regarding the current business location situation in Germany. Existing challenges were discussed openly, but also positive impulses, opportunities, and concrete starting points for the future viability of the Mittelstand. The insights into political backgrounds and their classification by Christian Wulff were particularly enriching.

In addition to the exchange of content, the Denkerrunde offered space for new networking. A special highlight was the visit to DE-CIX, the world’s largest internet exchange point in Frankfurt. A big thank you to CEO Ivo Ivanov and CTO Dr. Thomas King, who impressively demonstrated the central role digital infrastructure plays for the economy, innovation, and digital sovereignty.

Furthermore, exciting points of connection emerged with Charlie N. Müller from the Hessian start-up factory Futury, providing valuable perspectives at the intersection of medium-sized businesses, innovation, and the future.
