On March 5, 2026, the first PPM Tour Rhein-Main took place in Frankfurt, which we organized together with our long-standing partner Planisware. The region’s project management community was invited, deliberately in a compact setting to ensure that real conversations could actually take place.
The content focused on project success and the added value that project and portfolio management provides in practice. Three impulses shaped the program: Sandra Deichsel, PMP®, Partner Engagement Manager for Europe at the Project Management Institute (PMI); Dr. Oleksii Gorda from the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research; and Alexander Zorn, COO at Le Bihan. All three shared open reports from their own professional practice.
For many participants, however, the highlight was something else: enough time for exchange. It was not just the presentations, but the moments in between, the conversations that arose, and the questions that continued even after the sessions. As co-organizers, we are particularly pleased about this, as the format was designed for exactly that purpose.
